This gear is 2.85kg on size fits all, phase change technology designed to slowly absorb body heat, providing 10˚C ongoing cooling for 4 actual hours. It can be endlessly activated in a refrigerator or ice & water and is sturdy enough to be driven over by a car. This product has been proven by the USA military in Iraq. There are many similar products on the market today but few that can perform at a consistent temp and for the amount of declared time.
You must manage your heat level; wear this garment to cool your core as part of heat stress management on any hot day. When in bushfire / wild fire situation it is already a hot day with the added burden of higher heat generated from fire activity. This can lead to heat stress, a serious health risk.
