As shown in the above image, the gold coloured fabric made with 100% Proban treated cotton, is designed to help protect the back of your neck from radiant heat, embers and flame. It has Velcro on along the top edge.

It can be sewn into your hat (either permanently or with corresponding Velcro, not included) or silted and fitted into a helmet.
